How subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work for VisualJJ.
Refund Policy
Effective date: 13 November 2025
This policy explains how refunds work for purchases handled by our billing partner Paddle (Merchant of Record).
1. Subscriptions
- Billing and renewal: subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period (monthly unless otherwise stated) and auto-renew until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime: you can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your current period.
- First-time purchase refund: if VisualJJ Pro does not meet your needs, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first purchase.
- Renewals: renewal payments are generally non-refundable. If a renewal was accidental or you could not cancel due to a technical issue, contact us within 7 days of renewal; we will review on a case-by-case basis.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges: if you were charged in error or multiple times, contact us and we will work with Paddle to resolve it.
2. Consumer cooling-off (UK/EEA)
Consumers in the UK/EEA may have a statutory right to withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days. By starting to download, install, or access paid digital content during that period, you request and consent to immediate performance and acknowledge you may lose the right to withdraw once delivery begins. This section does not limit any non-waivable rights.
3. How refunds are processed
- Purchases via our website (Paddle checkout): reply to your Paddle receipt, use the Paddle buyer portal, or email billing@visualjj.com. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method where possible.
- Purchases via third-party marketplaces: that marketplace is the seller for that transaction and its refund process applies.
4. Exceptions
We may decline refunds where there is evidence of abuse, excessive prior refunds, or violation of our Terms of Service. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
5. Currency, taxes and invoices
Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. At checkout, Paddle charges in your local currency where available and applies any required taxes (e.g., VAT). Localised amounts may be rounded. Invoices and receipts are issued by Paddle.
